Veteran's Disability Benefits

Experienced Veteran's Disability Lawyers

In exchange for your service, the national government promised to take care of you. Veteran's disability benefits were part of that promise. Unfortunately, obtaining money and benefits from the Veteran's Administration (VA), as the current backlog of claims suggests, is not simple or efficient process for anyone.

The dedicated team of attorneys and support professionals at My Social Security Disability Benefits help disabled veterans get the money and benefits that they deserve and need. We have handled thousands of cases involving all types of legal matters, and we have successfully obtained money and benefits in the overwhelming majority of those same cases.

Let our dedicated team of attorneys and professionals start helping you today. For a free claim evaluation, send us a brief e-mail or call our office now from anywhere in the country at 888-801-1914 (toll free).

Two Types of Veteran's Benefits

The VA divides veterans with disabilities into two categories: those with disabilities directly related to their service in the armed forces, and those with disabilities not related to their service.

  • Service-connected disability: Service-connected disability benefits can be awarded to veterans who are either totally or only partially disabled. What are the conditions? Generally, if you were not dishonorably discharged, and you have a current medical diagnosis of a disability that we can prove is connected to your time in the service – you will qualify.
  • Non service-connected disability: To qualify for a non-service connected pension, you must have served on active duty during a period of war, you must have a total and permanent disability, and you must meet certain financial requirements.

Can I Collect Veterans Disability and Social Security Disability Benefits at the Same Time?

If your disability is service-connected, you can collect veteran's disability benefits from the VA and Social Security Disability benefits from the Social Security Administration — at the same time and without any reduction in money and benefits.

No Fee Unless We Win

You won't have to pay any attorney fees unless and until we win your claim and get money and benefits for you.
